I am a writer & editor from London. I have been writing about books since I founded and edited Inky, an online magazine for young writers, from 2012 to 2015. I have also been Editor of Isis, an arts journal, and Culture Editor of Cherwell, Oxford University’s independent student newspaper.

I graduated Oxford in 2019 with a First Class degree in English Language & Literature. An adapted version of my dissertation, which explored suburbia and violence in the work of George Orwell and Elizabeth Bowen, was published by Inquires Journal.

I like literature that is “people no plot”: I am especially interested in character, books about everyday life, domesticity, the quotidian and the mundane.

Alongside writing, I work as an editor at an independent publishing house.
